Donald Pinnow
On Saturday, April 5, Donald Pinnow peacefully passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love and service. He was the devoted husband of the late Lois Pinnow for 36 years, and a loving father to their son, John Pinnow. Donald was also the cherished son of the late Ruth and John Pinnow. He is survived by his sister, Ruth Ann (Paul) Schwartz, cousin Susan Olsen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
A dedicated professional, Don worked as a technician at Westport Volkswagen and later served as a security officer at Muskego High School, touching the lives of countless individuals through his work. In retirement, he continued to live with purpose, sharing his passion for Volkswagens by becoming an enthusiastic advocate for air-cooled Volkswagen maintenance. His educational and instructional videos on the subject have been viewed hundreds of times, making him a respected authority in the community.
Don was also deeply committed to giving back, volunteering as a speaker against drunk driving, and regularly donating blood to those in need. His craftsmanship extended to woodworking and metal fabrication, hobbies that brought him joy and creativity.
Though he has left this world, Don's impact will be felt for years to come. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. A private interment will took place at Forest Hill Memorial Park, where he will rest beside his beloved wife Lois.
